Vacation Mini Album

Hi Everyone ~ Hope all of you are having a fantastic weekend. I made this mini album for my dear friend at work. She went to Hawaii a few weeks ago and thought it would be fun to make her a mini.
I used the top note die from Stampin'Up. I absolutely love Stampin'Up products and I get my from my dear friend Norma at Pink Bling Crafter. The die was just the perfect size for the mini and WOW! I did the whole album in one evening. LOL!

This little mini album was super easy to put together. I used DCWV stack and the DCWV summer sticker pack. To cut the flowers, pineapple, gecko, beach chair and flip flops I user Life's a Beach Cricut Cartridge and use the border feature. The super awesome bling on the from is from Kaisercraft daffodil sparklets and let me tell you they sparkle. I used my gel pens to color the flowers and the pineapples and the flip flops. I also used a grey gel pen to accent the lines  of the chair on the front. Also Tim Holtz Distressed ink shaded lilac. This has become one of my favorite inks.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. DL.Art 1,000 linky party
2. Sunday Fun Day link party
3. Make it Monday anything goes

The fireworks, frames, photo mates and the flag are cut out from a paper pack I got from Oriental Trading. The Fourth of July is cut from the Old West cartridge. The journaling boxes are from stamps and the watermelons are done freehand.

50th Birthday Mini Album

Hi Everyone ~ Hope all of you are having a wonderful Sunday!! Last Saturday was my sister's 50th Birthday Surprise Party, so I thought I would make her a mini album for the occasion. It was a bit of a challenge to give her a surprise party since she was trying to plan her own party and everyone that was invited had to have some excuse for not coming. We even had to make sure that her boss said she had to work at the time of the real surprise party, just to make sure she didn't show up unexpectedly. Well we pulled it off and everyone had a fabulous time and she didn't have to work. Which was what she said when she realized it was a party for her. LOL!
Now for the mini I made her. I want to let all of you know that my inspiration for this mini came from Mary at CardzTV, she made one very similar for her husband for Father's day. It was gorgeous and the theme was all about his garden that he was growing. I just love all of Mary's projects and make sure you stop by her blog she is amazing!!! Hope you all like it.

Products I used:
New  Recollections paper pack from Michaels - Cupcake Cuties and Lumiere
I used Viva decor on the ends of the ribbons to seal them.
A variety of stamps and stickers I had and I am not sure which brand they are (sorry).
Stickles of course and I used the Viva Decor for the inside to write her name and date.
The Happy Birthday on the cover is something I had in my stash along with the cupcakes.
The flower with the leaves are made from punches by Stampin'UP and I get all of my Stampin'Up products from my sweet friend Norma at Pink Bling Crafter, be sure to stop by her blog she is amazing.
I also accented various stamped items on the pages with some sparkle gel pens I got awhile back from Big Lots. I am telling you that is one of the best purchases I made I use them all the time.
Bind it All, which I used for the first time and it was extremely easy.
All the tags were cut from Tags, Bags and  Boxes Cricut cartridge and they fit inside the pages.
Washi tape, I really like this tape.

I am also entering this in the anything goes at cardztv.

Disney Princesses

Hi Everyone ~ OMG! I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. Bummer. Hope all of you are having a fantastic weekend. I don't know about all of you, but I would love to have weekends that are longer. Ya! LOL! Anyway, enough about the long weekends. Lately I have seen all of these wonderful Disney projects and they have all been amazing!  A lady that I work with took her little girl to Disneyland and had all of the princesses sign her autograph book, so I thought it was be fun to make the princesses for her book. My husband did the faces on the princesses, I think he did a fantastic job. Hope you like them.

The princess where all made from Happily Ever After  and Dreams Come True cartidges. They were really fun to put together. I tried to match the colors as close as I could to the pictures that were taken with each princess. Ariel came out so close to the picture it was amazing. Anyway I think so.

Hope all of you have a fantastic week
