ALTERED COMPOSITION BOOKS

Hi Everyone - Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Here are 2 altered composition book that I made for two ladies at work. I always see Andrea going to meetings and thought she would enjoy having a note book for her meeting notes. The other lady would tell me that her journals were always taken by her boys, because they weren't girlie enough, so I made her one that was really girlie. I had so much fun making these. It always warms my heart to make someone smile! :)

The first altered book was made with Create a Critter Cartridge for the cat and cat bed, the meeting notes I did with my Gypsy and used lyrical letters and welded the letters. Don't you just love the Gypsy - it is awesome!!!!! The letters for Andrea's name I used Tim Holtz's grunge board letters. The flowers are from a Martha Stewart punch and the butterfly is a stamp from my stash along with the paper.

The second altered book was made with A Child's Year for the fairy, I used chalk to color in the fairy. I used the Cricut Lite Cartridge Live Simply to make the butterfly. The word journal is from Heritage Cartridge and I used a white gel pen to make the dashes around the letters. The letters for Wendi's name I used Tim Holtz's grunge board letters. The brad is from Oriental Trading. The wings have crystal Stickles on them. The paper is from my stash. Don't you think this is very girlie?

Happy Crafting and thanks for stopping by!

MOUSE BIRTHDAY CARDS

Hi Everyone - Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Last night I was on a roll and made these 4 Mouse Birthday Cards. There is a little shop in town that sells scrapbooking supplies and other craft supplies. She also rents out her back room for crafting and you can use all of her equipment. She had the mouse stamp in the back room stamped on a piece of paper. It was soooo cute! The mouse stamp is Make A Wish 02 from Amanda, Monica at least that is what is on the side of the wooden block. I asked her if she could order me one and she said take it for a while and when you are finished with it just pop it in the mail slot in the door. That is of course if she isn't there. Anyway I got home and had to see how the stamp was on different colors of paper. I also couldn't wait to use my Stampin' Up markers. I used Riding Hood Red to color the cupcake and the noses with Rose Red. I then used my stickles (various colors) to accent the cupcake paper, frosting, candle and the flame. First I was just going to make one card and next thing I knew I had made 4. They were so much fun to make. The mouse holding up the other mouse to blow out the candle is so adorable, I just love it. Hope you all like them!

Stampin ' Up Haul

OMG! I can't believe I haven't posted anything is such a long time. I have been super busy at work and home. I mentioned in my last posting that I place a big Stampin' Up order from Norma at http://pinkblingcrafter.blogspot.com/ I got my order and WOW! The things I ordered are absolutely wonderful. I have already used some of them. When I was going through my order I discovered that I ordered the stampin wheel and I fail to order the wheels. I was laughing when i discovered that. I will have to place another order for the wheels and I love the Dimensionals so much I will order more of them. I have already used the Markers and they are so worth the purchase, I will use them all of the time. Norma thanks for suggesting them. I would also suggest if you can afford them to get the entire kit of markers. So here is my pictures of my haul, hope you like it.

To all my followers thanks for all the wonderful comments you have posted.

HAPPY! CRAFTING!
